About me
My name is Leslie P. Zimmermann. With a background in the humanities, I bring technical expertise and solid experience in the management of digital projects. By combining these diverse perspectives, I develop strategies for digital transformation in both private and public sectors and advise organizations on their practical implementation. Currently, I am working as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Strategy Manager at the Reiss-Engelhorn Museums in Mannheim while also holding a teaching position at the University of Mannheim.
I possess substantial programming experience, especially in Python, which I utilize for data analysis, data visualization, and machine learning (ML). My focus is on data management and the optimization of digital processes. My academic background in philosophy, sociology, and art history allows me to critically examine technology-focused debates and approach projects from various interdisciplinary angles.
My projects and consulting services aim at hands on digital transformation within organizations, particularly in the cultural sector. I assist both conceptually and practically in implementing digital projects, managing and structuring data, and optimizing digital workflows. Effective communication, execution, and sustainable management of digital change processes are central aspects of my daily work.
I am enthusiastic about the rapid pace of technological development, which motivates me to continuously stay up to date. Digital tools are exceptional assistants, supporting us in numerous ways. Yet, they have disruptive potential and are profoundly changing our society. I am passionately committed to promoting the ethically responsible use of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and advocate for high privacy standards.
I also share my expertise and insights on current digital developments on my blog. For more information, consulting services, or collaboration opportunities, please feel free to contact me.
